Dave Irons, Shawneen Finnegan, Greg Gillson and myself looked for over an hour for the Hudsonian Godwit at Jackson Bottom last evening near sundown. We saw no trace of it and concluded it was either roosting in tall vegetation or that it had moved on. The most interesting birds were a single Red-necked Phalarope, Blue-winged Teal, and a small group of Hooded Merganser fledglings with their mother.
