Red Knot is far more regular on the coast than Long-billed Curlew.
A day on the beach this time of year should net the conscientious
observer multiple individuals. I've seen three or four over the past 10
days... saw one today... They are also fairly regular in fall.

Long-billed Curlew cannot be counted on annually on the North Coast,
though they are most likely during peak Whimbrel season.

Long-billed Curlew is far more common than Red Knot (I suspect) in
the Willamette Valley and (of course) East of the Cascades.
