I parked in Willamette Mission Park near the Wheatland Ferry Saturday afternoon. (They charge to park anywhere near the ferry on the east side of the river.) The walk near the river on both sides of the road was beautiful. Highlights included:
RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER (2) DOWNY WOODPECKER YELLOW WARBLER (several) OSPREY CEDAR WAXWINGS BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAKThe OSPREY was on a pole just north of the ferry. It was in a mass of bugs and poorly fleshed.
