Not a great showing of birds on Skinner’s this morning, except a fair flock of mixed warblers. No expected vireos or flycatchers. We found birders viewing the eagle nest from the trail, wide open now from tree damage. An immature Bald was soaring the air space over the nest with vocal responses from the parent on the nest, a bird maybe from a previous brood.
