1. Hello Birders,
2. Under gray skies, the Corvallis Tuesday Afternoon Group birded the newly
dedicated Tonya Harding Wayside in NE Benton County today.
3. Good birds were seen by all.
4. Our highlights included:
a. one Great Gray Owl
b. one Northern Goshawk (which stole a Wheat Thin out of one of the
Hinkles' hands)
c. a Common Eider
d. one Wandering Contreras (subspecies curmudgeonii) e. and at least 2
Blue Jays
5. Participants included Oscar Harper, Hendrik Herlyn, Adrian Hinkle, Will
Hinkle, Lars Hinkle, Rich Hinkle, Chris Hinkle, Algernon Hinkle, Jerry Garcia
Hinkle and Pinocchio Hinkle.
6. The Hinkles can add anything I forgot.
