About all my banding effort was after 1 May over the years I banded. I do have
captures during the first week in May. The earliest record for a Swainson's in
the western part of the Rogue Valley I'm aware of is one of Steve Summers'
records, which is 27 April 1977.

Maybe someone on OBOL can get the Swainson's data from KBO. They band in the
upper Bear Creek Valley at Ashland.
