Hey all,
Lyla Messick and I found and photographed a crisp adult BLACK ROSY-FINCH at
the Kiger Gorge overlook on Steens Mountain this evening around 6:45 pm.
The lone bird flew in calling, hopped around us on the rocks near the
overlook sign, foraged briefly, and then took off westward and back into
the gorge.
Also present were 4 Golden Eagles hunting along the edge of the canyon.
