Hello all,

This morning's sunshine must have brought on a bout of spring fever in our
resident bird community on Witham Hill - several species broke into full
song for the first time this season!

The songsters included Black-capped Chickadee, White-breasted Nuthatch (if
you want to call that a song :)), Brown Creeper, Pacific Wren, Bewick's
Wren, American Robin, Dark-eyed Junco (one of them sounding deceptively
like an Orange-crowned Warbler!), Song Sparrow and Spotted Towhee.

In other news: At least one White-throated Sparrow continues at our feeder,
and 2 Common Ravens and an American Kestrel were somewhat uncommon flyover
visitors at our place this morning.

Happy sunshine birding!

Hendrik
