Hello All, I biked to Golden Gardens Park in west Eugene today to look for the PALM WARBLER that has been hanging out there for the past couple weeks. After 1-1/2 hours of searching, the PAWA briefly appeared in in the southeast corner of the park before flying off into the residential backyards to the southeast. Next, the SWAMP SPARROW over-wintering at Fern Ridge Royal Avenue showed itself near the observation platform. And finally, the easiest tick of the day, the Alvadore NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was prominently perched in the same holly tree west of Decker Nursery, where it's been in all winter.
