We stopped off on the way to Eugene today (Sunday) at about 10:30am. It only took about 15 minutes in the drizzle to get on the bird. It was in the sandy depression between the jetty parking lot and the beach. There's standing water and lots of burnt driftwood in the bottom. The SNBU was hanging out with a Savannah Sparrow, moving from under grass tufts to burnt logs. Beautiful bird. Thanks to whoever found it!
