[obol] Seaside/South Jetty Columbia River Shorebirds today

Just back from a grand day at the coast.
Seaside: behind the High School around 2:30 there were 100 plus Least/Westerns
and a few Semi Palm Plovers running about. Nothing behind the church on the
East side of 101.
South Jetty/Ft. Stevens: Ponds by the observation platform (pking lot C) had
one semi plover and 80 or more Least/Western Sandpipers, too much tide for the
roost at the bunker in parking lot B.
Best of all was the roost at Hammond Boat Basin, 8 or more Marbled Godwit, 15
or more Whimbrel, 50 or so Dowitchers, a few Western Sandpipers...what a great
spot that can be.
