A RED-SHOULDERED HAWK flew from the young, exotic oaks behind/between the community centers west to the Oregon Ash forest in Amazon Park (Eugene) about 6 this evening. Alby Thoumsin reported seeing one nearby while he was driving by on the Parkway during the January fog.
PURPLE FINCHES sang near our house this morning, about 10 blocks south of the UO.
An AMERICAN CROW with several white tail feathers was present at SE 20th and Morrison in Portland around noon.
