Some years back Olive-sided Flycatcher stopped showing up at normal times here
at Thornton Creek, Lincoln County. Then one year they never showed at all. But
they since have rebounded, and tend to show up at normal times and in normal
numbers. , I have no hard data, but suspect a local absence might reflect
cyclical population swings. However, it probably isn't ever a good idea to
assign one cause only to the local abundance or lack thereof of a given
species.

Subject: [obol] Question about olive-sided flycatcher
Hello All,
I have not had a olive-sided flycatcher at my place yet this year. I have had
them in late May for as long as I have been here. Are other folks who normally
experience osfl this time of the year experiencing what I am? Just curious.
