Hi All, I spent the better part of the day in the forest at Tryon Creek State Park today. What caught my attention as new activity were at least three separate Hutton's Vireos singing insistently and a flock of 10+ Red Crossbills bouncing around the park's canopy. Crossbills were present there about a week ago as well. Also, Pacific Wrens and Brown Creepers are really building up their songs. Good birding, Rhett
