I saw my first Black Tern today at Baskett Slough NWR. I was at the
Narrow's on Coville Rd. from about 7:00-11:00 am. The Tern flew in three
to four different times feeding on the north side of the road and just
south of the wildflower covered island in the pond. I was wishing for
better photos but this tern fly's like a falcon, very fast with quick
turns. Also photographed Sora's, Virginia Rails, American Bittern and a
Green Heron. Will post those photos later after working through them on
