Hi all, This afternoon at 4 there was a nice assortment of gulls near the easternmost set of pilings 1st winter Bonaparte's gull = 1 several Mews (adults) several Ring-billeds (1 first year, others adults) California gull = 68 ( adults) Glaucous-winged gull = 8 (all but one adults) several "Olympic" gulls Local birders know of this area but if your just passing through and have just a bit of time ....this location deserves continued close observation (it's already produced Arctic and Common terns) within the last 2 months. Also, there was a single Clark's grebe keeping company with 9 Westerns. good birding, Tom
