The male MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD continues as of 2 pm today at the EWEB wetlands on the corner of Roosevelt and Beltline in Eugene. It seems to be using the whole area around the parking lot but not leaving it. There are no other bluebirds or similar birds present, so it's relatively easy to locate. Also present: Dunlin, Long-billed Dowitchers, Greater Yellowlegs, a soaring Sharp-shinned Hawk, and a decent variety of dabbling ducks. This spot is well worth checking regularly as long as it has water. Good birding! Thomas Meinzen Eugene
