My Central Oregon friends Cindy Z and Diane Burgess joined me for the March
Coquille Valley raptor count on March 25. It was the lowest count we have
had for this count. Under intermittent showery skies, 73 miles in 7.5
hours, we found the following birds.
Red Tailed Hawk 11
American Kestrel 8
Northern Harrier 2
Bald Eagle A7,S4
Red Shouldered Hawk 4
While Tailed Kite 1
Peregrine Falcon 1
Osprey 12 (first every on this count)
