Hello All, Linda and I were to and from Ashland and were able to make two tries for the bird. No joy on Tuesday or today. Lots and lots of ducks and others on that section of the lake(Agency Lake Resort). Pelicans, 100 plus Avocet, 3 Blk.Necked Stilts, Dowitchers, Yellowlegs, few gulls. South of the Agency Lake Resort is a park, Henzel I think, boat ramp and toilet. South from the ramp we saw a largish roost of gulls, were running out of time but walked 100 yds. south and looked across to the SW and could see many gulls, Bonapart's and others but could not pull out the Little Gull. The roost was distant even as far as we got, did not look to be any road access but a person could walk another couple of hundred yards or so and get some better views. We also saw 5-6 Lewis Woodpeckers near the boat ramp. The gull could still be there...a canoe/kayak would be a useful tool in getting around a bit more as lake shore access is a bit limited.
