Greetings OBOLers,While thoroughly enjoying a late morning Coast Range hike, I found MOUNTAIN QUAIL calling, N. PYGMY OWLS (male & female) calling, a very vocal PILEATED WOODPECKER, and a solitary BAND-TAILED PIGEON. PACIFIC WRENS were singing everywhere!
Later, while doing brickwork at home, the local OSPREY circled over our home, calling and displaying.
We still have three WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS in the yard too. A beautiful spring day on the coast! regards, Diane Pettey Heceta Beach, OR surfbird@xxxxx OBOL archives: www.freelists.org/archive/obol Manage your account or unsubscribe: //www.freelists.org/list/obol Contact moderators: obol-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
