The MARBLED MURRELET study team noticed an oddity while scoping Fishing Rock
area, a pair of ANCIENT MURRELET not only foraging, but also with a juvenile
in tow, actively feeding the youngster. One of them contacted me and I was
able to stop by and get good looks at the 3 Murrelets and the feeding
activity. They got a digi-scoped photo, I just emailed them to ask permission
to share it - if you're interested in seeing the photo, let me know.
If you're in the vicinity, walk out to the point at Fishing Rock and scope
the water to the south - they have been hanging around for about 3-4 hours
now (since first observed).
