[obol] King Eider at Coos Bay

I am planning a trip for this weekend to the Coos Bay area, and was wondering 
if the King Eider is still present. If it is, is it able to be seen without a 
scope, or is it only viewable with a scope? It appears fossil point is a good 
place to see it from. Is that correct?
