Seen this morning about 10:30. South and west of pelican island. Feeding in exposed mud with huge flock of western sandpipers. Stuck out like sore thumb. Buffy face and neck, dark bill shorter than a dowitcher. Dark on back and winds black with gold edging. White Belly and yellow legs. Much larger than the westerns.
