We had juncos nesting this June in our garden area. The nest was in the grass
in a depression where we'd had a cherry tree stump ground down. The only clue
it was there was when we walked by too close the mama would fly out. There were
four or five eggs, but the nest disappeared during the following week when I
wasn't checking it.
