This report included with my raptor survey, but thought it deserved a separate
message as well.
1 VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOW seen well with scope (back seen, violet on rump, upper
back green; white extending up behind eye and also into rump), perched on
utility wire with many Tree Swallows (pasture area out Galice Road west of
Merlin). Beats my previous early record (26 Feb 2009, Finch Rd out of Kerby).
