I birded a few places in Josephine County this afternoon. Nothing rare to report. Duck numbers are building at the Provolt pond and the Pacifica Gardens. I finally saw my county GOLDEN EAGLE over the Williams area. Lake Selmac had 2 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE and 1 CACKLING GOOSE to add to the continuing Wilson's Snipe, Great Egret & Western Grebe there. At Copeland Ponds, there were at least 500 TURKEY VULTURES circling around in 4 different kettles. It was very impressive and I felt like I was back at a Texas or Veracruz hawkwatch site.
