Out doing some bird looking for the "Not in my Backyard Bird Count." Found
VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS along Lower River Road (west of junction with Upper River
Road). Same day as found here last year. Got a new eye-piece for my Kowa, a
25 to 60x. There were lots of Swallows flying around over the corn stubble.
Many were perched on electrical lines, which I scanned with scope sent on 60x.
Was like being next to the bird, pretty impressive eye-piece for sharpness and
color, even at 60x.
