Hi All, Made a quick run around the Burns area, primarily Greenhouse Rd. and the Narrows. The Eurasian Wigeon is still being seen near Potter Swamp Road. Thousands of Snow, Ross's Geese and Pintail Ducks are using the fields in this area. Hundreds of Sandhill Cranes were mixed in with the waterfowl and in a cattle feed lot. Greater Yellowlegs are being seen in the wet fields and Long-billed Curlews are beginning to arrive. A dozen Avocets were seen north of the Narrows with feeding Shoveler and more white geese were further out in the flooded fields here. Tree Swallows have moved in over the past week and a large group were flying in the Narrows. I should have photos posted to the website a little later this evening. Cheers!
