There was a diverse flock of gulls on Staat Lake in Keizer, Marion County this afternoon, numbering 100 or more. Mostly Mew Gulls, but there were a number of larger gulls, including a very white Glaucous Gull. Western, Herring, Glaucous-winged, Ring-billed and California were also present. There was a flow of gulls to and from the southeast, and the Glaucous Gull headed out that way while I was there. Here is my checklist, with photos: http://ebird.org/ebird/pnw/view/checklist?subID=S21638640 Here is information about Staat Lake, which is just north of Salem: http://birdingoregon.info/Home/MarionCounty/tabid/199/Default.aspx#staat Good birding, Jeff
