There were seven immature Eagles at Oaks Bottom on Saturday during the Sellwood
Birding Festival.
They were in a tree and on the ground and moving around a bit. Quite a sight.
There is an active Osprey nest at the S. end of Oaks Bottom.

Subject: [obol] Eagle display
Flying over Llewellyn School (6301 SE 14th Ave) today there were four immature
Eagles, one adult and an Osprey. All five were riding the thermals from 11:00 -
12:00. This has been going on for the past week. Not rare birds by any stretch
of the imagination but a spectacular display none the less. Llewellyn is
located right above Oaks Bottom.
