Here are a few sightings that I could confirm today :-)
On Cabell Marsh, there were 2 WESTERN GREBES. The only shorebirds along the
south side were one WILSON'S PHALAROPE and a couple of KILLDEER.
A lone male PURPLE MARTIN was at Ray Bentley Overlook.
On the Philomath Sewage Ponds, the number of BLUE-WINGED TEAL has increased
to 4 drakes. There are now 3 GREEN-WINGED TEAL and 5 GADWALL, along with
the usual suspects.
I only noted 2 SPOTTED SANDPIPERS today, and a single RED-NECKED PHALAROPE
was on the central pond. No gulls or terns around.
