The final tally of White-fronts passing over the Eugene swift-watch was about
1600 birds. I'm sure we missed a lot because many of them were very high,
above the patchy cloud cover.
Swift count was a little over 8,000, second-highest this fall, I think.
Strange to think that in a few days they will all be gone.
