ECAS Wednesday Birders explored eastern Crook County today. We stopped at
locations posted about occasionally by Chuck Gates, the Crook Guru. See
comments below beside birds re locations, numbers, etc. Targets seen and
"bird of the day" species include Bobolink, Laz Buntings, Chats, and Eastern
Kingbirds. So good to travel east for birds. Some of the birds were seen
because Steve K heard them, knows the sounds and the birds were found. Yay
for birding by ear. Someone may add birds that I missed on the list.
