Hi Christi,
Thanks for being such a gracious host! I will have to bring you some sunflower
seeds or corn next time I am down!! Oh, Alan Barron e-mailed me from Crescent
City, sounds like he may come up today. Wish I was closer to Brookings, it is
such a pretty area.
By the way, I keep track of bird sightings for Coos and Curry Counties and
write-up a yearly bird notes column for Oregon Birds magazine. Anyhow, it is
nice to have an arrival and departure date for rarities like your Blue Jay.
Meanwhile- have a great Thanksgiving!!

I just spotted the BLUE JAY this morning in our front yard (corner of Del
Norte and Maple Streets in Brookings behind a chain link fence). It is feeding
on the ground on corn and black sunflower seed. There is ample parking on the
Del Norte side, so please feel free to park and visit the neighborhood.
