Hi Obol.
For weeks I have been hearing begging Crows, a sound that some people
probably find annoying, but a sound that brings a smile to my face. As is
usual here under the tall trees, I couldn't see them, only hear them. Two
weeks ago I finally got to see one as it dropped down closer. It sat on a
branch looking somewhat lost, since no parent was in sight.
Yesterday, a parent Crow brought two kids to the peanut table. It stuffed
some suet into their bills and then it left them on their own to learn the
art of cracking open peanuts. They did quite well, take a look:
