Today I birded with Dorothy Gates and Diane Pettey and we searched for Dusky Grouse along the Summit Road (NF 27) NE of Prineville. We found a total of 7 which is an all-time high for me. We found two groups (one group of 3 at 44.50520 -120.49154 and a group of 4 at 44.50739 -120.41872). We also found Olive-sided Flycatcher and Northern Pygmy-owl along the 2610 road. A Herring Gull was at Ochoco Reservoir along with about 4 Baird's Sandpipers.
