I was back out at the north spit of Coos Bay late PM and the TROPICAL-K was still in the same location on the north dike as yesterday flycatching away, right across from the old aeration pond which is actually fairly close to the main road. It was a bit drizzlely but warm and there were lots of insects around. I didn't see any PALM WARBLERS there this evening but there were two in North Bend at the BLM office (NW end) around noon today in the pouring rain. The two ELEGANT TERNS continued across the bay from the BLM boat ramp out on the north spit. Merry Rocktober! Tim R Coos Bay
