Knute Andersson reports 4 WHIMBREL from behind the Coast Guard station in Bandon today. He also saw a ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK a little south of Coos Bay- sounds like it was off Hwy 42 near a horse stables with adjacent open sloughlands. Forecast for tomorrow in Coos Bay calls for winds from 25-35mph with gusts to 70. Wednesday night Thursday another storm arrives with winds forecasted to be 35-45 with gusts to 80. It will be winder at the headlands, they say gust to 100 mph during the second storm. Also sounds like about 4 inches of rain on the coast with over 9 forecasted for the Coast Range Wednesday and Thursday.
