If you have ever been fortunate enough to watch the elegant flight of a
shearwater as it glides just above the surface of the ocean, or have
watched as a long-winged albatross comes close to investigate your boat,
then you get why we love pelagic birding.
Come out with *Oregon Pelagic Tours* on one of our summer or fall trips.
On a typical trip we see 1-2 species of albatross, a storm-petrel, 3-4
species of shearwaters, 2-3 jaegers, skua, 2 auklets, 2 phalaropes, murres,
murrelets, phalaropes, terns, and more. Not sure what some of these
families are? All the more reason to go out with us!
