Hello Birders…
Yesterday I photographed a Caspian Tern with colored leg bands on both legs,
and I did a little research to find out where to report my sighting…
After reading the information on Seattle Audubon's site
(http://birdweb.org/birdweb/bird/caspian_tern) I am concerned that by reporting
this sighting it will help aid the Army Corps of Engineers in the slaughter of
terns (in the same way they slaughtered the Double-crested Cormorants)…

Is it safe to report this sighting?
Thank you,
Lillian
P.S. - The sighting was on the Washington side of the Columbia River...
