Just got back from viewing the COMMON EIDER with a group of folks at Fossil Point Coos Bay. Bird was easily found by Tim from Ashland and Mike Graybill who viewed it from his and Jan Hodder's back yard. Was sitting on a rock south of the point at Fossil Point. One needs to park there and walk around the point to the SW to view the bird. Tide will be in around noon so after that it is more difficult to find the bird.
