Shortly after a rain squall noonish seemed to stir things up a little, I
saw 1 or 2 ASHY STORM-PETRELS with Paul Sullivan. In very good light and
not too far out we could see with no question these are not FTSP or
Leach's, and I claim just a bit smaller. I had a good brief view of the
wing underside of one, I clearly saw light underwing coverts.
I could not resist going back today and now that seeing 3 species of
storm-petrels in the same day from land is a daily occurrence, it's not
rare anymore. Otherwise a lot like yesterday, but with few Fulmars,
Shearwaters. We saw a Parasitic Jaeger, lots of Sabine's Gulls and a Bony,
FORK-TAILED STORM PETRELS were thick close in
