Today while photographing dragonflies at Whitaker ponds saw what looked
like a Black Phoebe perching on partially submerged branches in the
easternmost pond and fly catching. Have seen them in the winter there, but
did not know that Black Phoebe were here in the summer, and this bird was
silent. a few poor photos, attaching one, at least it shows the silhouette.
Also lots of Vaux Swifts over the pond
