I stopped by Pintail Marsh to see the WHITE-FACED IBIS that Roy recently posted about. Thanks Roy. There were also 9 DUNLIN among the couple dozen LB Dowitchers. Apparently a Snow Goose was with the 5 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE before I arrived. In Salem, in the gravel ponds on either side of I-5 (Lowe's or Kelly's) there were both HORNED & WESTERN GREBES. There were GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULLS in each and a 1st year (juvenile) THAYER'S GULL in the east pond. Good birding, Russ Namitz Medford
