Jean – Sean McSpaden, Deputy State Chief Information Officer, asked me to 
provide you with the state of Oregon’s guidelines entitled:  “Social Networking 
Media – Combining technology and social interaction to create value.”  That 
document is attached; as is a companion document focused on employee 
expectations for the use of social media.

 

The State E-governance Board, through the Department of Administrative Services 
and its E-Government Program Office, made these documents available in August 
2010.
