Purchasing Window Extended Until Wednesday 3/21

Hello all,

If you have not yet placed your order for Securing the Human seats for
the current purchasing window, the window has been extended until next
Wednesday, 3/21 due to some problems with the portal website earlier
today. If you have already placed your order, once SANS receives your
payment you should receive information from SANS regarding your account
and seats within 14 days. If you do not hear from SANS, please let us
know and we will follow up on your behalf.

If you do not yet have a client portal account, you will need one to
place your order. To get a client portal account, first register at
https://www.securingthehuman.org/programs/ms-isac, SANS will then send
you credentials for your client portal account. To place your order,
you will login to the client portal
(https://www.securingthehuman.org/account) and place your order there
indicating your payment method, attaching your PO, if applicable. If
you are planning to purchase by next Wednesday, please get your client
portal account set up now.

If you have any questions about the training, how to set up your portal
account or submit your order, please feel free to contact us so we can
assist you with the process. or if you are renewing seats from last
year, please contact us as renewals for one year are guaranteed not to
exceed last year's price so once established your portal account needs
to be adjusted to reflect this before you place your order. If you do
miss this window, there will be another purchasing window in July with
the same terms and pricing. Information on the July window will be sent
in the spring.

Either Christina Carr or I can assist you.

To MS-ISAC members and all interested partners:

The purchasing window for SANS Securing the Human security awareness
training seats is now open (Jan. 15 - Feb. 29, 2012). As part of the
MS-ISAC and SANS new partnership agreement, we are offering this
aggregate purchasing opportunity for all state, local, territory and
tribal entities as well as related educational and non-profit entities.
Another purchasing window will be available in July 2012 if you miss
this purchasing window.

Securing the Human is a security awareness training program for an
organization. It includes 30 video modules covering all security topics.
You administer the modules that you want to use and whether you want
folks to be tested after each module. There is a reporting module for
your administrator to monitor progress and compliance. SANS updates
the content at least twice a year and keeps it current to address the
latest threats and critical controls. You can use it online through SANS
Virtual Learning environment or load the SCORM-compliant modules into
your own learning management system (same price).

Securing the Human Pricing:

Up to 1,334 seats for 1 year: $2,000

Up to 1,200 seats for 2 year: $3,000

Orders above these numbers are at a straight cost of $1.50/seat
for 1 year; $2.50/seat for 2 years

Associated electronic format newsletter, poster, and screensaver
for each module customized for your organization: With seat purchase
$2500 Without seat purchase $5000

Payment will be due to SANS by PO, credit card or check request during
the purchasing window. For those using a PO, payment will be due 30
days after the close of the purchasing window.

SANS has set up a MS-ISAC client portal for this procurement at:
https://www.securingthehuman.org/programs/ms-isac where you must
register to receive a test account and receive credentials for your
client account where you will place an order and track your purchase.
