Our Facilites dept leaves one of those transport bins on wheels outside the
pharmacy and we dump the boxes in the bin. it took a little convincing to get
us there.

Good morning!
How are hospital pharmacies without a receiving area outside the department
managing corrugated boxes in pharmacy and has the Joint Commission had a
concern over this? Corrugated boxes that arrive with medication in them from
the wholesaler or direct shipments from manufacturers into the pharmacy are the
main problem.
