Hi,
Yes, in ko/symbols.dic on line 24:
. sentence ending       점       all     always
and on line line 60
.       점       some

If you change one of them, copy symbols.dic to the right place in your nvda 
directory and make 
sure you are running Korean interface, you should hear them as different.
