I observed this as well as some other funnies. I have a feeling its got a lot to do with regional accents of the listener. If you could get it right it might then not sound quite so much like the one we never speak of, though... grin.

Hello, I am using the latest speech player, version 2014.6.4, with the current intonation. I am reading through some history of NVDA versions and come across some ticket numbers. I think the number was 2317. Currently, it's very difficult for me to tell whether this is saying 2317, or 2370, with the small speakers on this netbook. My first solution was to change frame.cfn0 to 35, but then it made other words sound interesting. Is there a way this could be changed in a future update to Speech Player please? Other than this small issue, I'm very happy with this synthesizer. Excellent job! Thanks, and I apologize for being difficult earlier about the intonation. Thanks, Brandon ---------------------------------------------------------------- NVDA add-ons Central: A list for discussing NVDA add-ons To post a message, send an email to nvda-addons@xxxxxxxxxxxxx.To unsubscribe, send an email with the subject line of "unsubscribe" (without quotes) to nvda-addons-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx.If you have questions for list moderators, please send a message to nvda-addons-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx.Community addons can be found here: http://addons.nvda-project.org
