Hi,
Azardi is anePub reader mentioned in the DAISY Consortium website.
I thought that it didn't have almost nothing best that the ePUBReader
add-on for Firefox, but this program supports Media Overlays, which can
be very interesting when we want to listeng a human pronunciation for
instance if we are learning languages.
So I'm thinking about creating an add-on adding basic support for Azardi
with NVDA.
Sometimes this program is broken in my PC but I don't know if it is
normal or not, since my computer is quite small and old.
The features that I'm thinking on are:
1. Access to browse mode documents, just assigning role_document when
needed.
2. Perhaps, keystrokes for ease of access to certain parts of the
program, to avoid we need to press NVDA+f2 before pressing Azardi keys.
As Adobe Digital Editions doesn't support braille for the book contents
window and ePUBReader add-on for Firefox doesn't support Media Overlays,
I think this can be interesting.
Also, I will open an issue mentioning the possibility of adding support
for this in NVDA¡s core too.
